Betty Louise Drew

Betty Louise Drew, of Rolla, Missouri, was born December 14, 1944 in Rolla, Missouri to James Henry Davis and Hellen Lottie Barnes. Betty passed away on May 8, 2025 at the age of 80, in Rolla, Missouri.

Betty was born and raised in Rolla, Missouri. She attended Rolla High School. Betty worked for many years as a CNA and in Laundry at Schriner’s Residential Home and Rolla Presbyterian Manor. After leaving the nursing homes, she devoted her time to her family whom she loved more than anything. Betty married James Clyde Drew on March 18, 1962. In those 63 years of marriage they had five children who were the light of their lives. In the rare times that Betty was not working in the Nursing Homes or doting on her family, she enjoyed a variety of hobbies including quilting and making crafts and her flowerbeds. Betty had a particular love for her peacocks and doves as well.

Betty is survived by her husband, Clyde Drew, her children, Mary (John) Redshaw, Michael (Keri) Drew, William (Cherie) Drew and Ricky Drew Sr.; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister Irene (Leon) Henson; brother, Wayne Davis; and many other cherished family members and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her son, James Dale Drew; father, James Henry Davis; mother, Helen Lottie Barnes; siblings, Leroy Davis, Dean Davis, Ernest Davis, Jerry Lee Davis, Janet Sue Henson and Mike McClothern. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the Drew residence in Rolla, Missouri.
