Carol Lynn Warden

Carol Lynn Warden, 65, of Rolla passed away on Tuesday July 28, 2026, in Rolla. She was born on February 21, 1961, in Steubenville, Ohio to Willie and Roberta (Glasgow) Starkey. Carol was a 1979 graduate of Salem R 80.

On May 13, 1982, she was married to Steve Warden in Salem.

Carol worked for McDonald’s for 30 years, working herself up to the position of manager.

In addition to her work, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons Josh Warden and Michelle Likes of Salem, Terry Warden and Leah Hopkins of Salem; grandchildren Kyler Warden, of Rolla, Brock Warden and Karli Ridder of Holts Summit, Tierra Warden and Ryker Major of Salem, Lexi Warden and Shannel Vandekur of Rolla, Riley Warden of Rolla, Carter Warden of Salem; sister Lenorah (Allan) Gage of Salem; great granddaughter Saylor Ray Warden and several nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Steve, her parents, brothers Bo Starkey and Joe Starkey, and her grandmother Madie Mae Starkey.

There will be a Celebration of Life on August 1 at 2:00pm at Rolla Lions Park.
