Charles (Chuck) Harrison

Charles (Chuck) Harrison passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 86 in Rolla, Missouri. He was born June 18, 1939, in Moberly, Missouri to Harvey and Rowena (Esry) Harrison. Rowena passed away when Charles and his twin brother were born and later their father married Mary DeRigne Harrison and she was their mother who raised them with love.

He attended school in Moberly and resided there for most of his life before moving to Rolla. Charles served in the Navy from 1961 to 1966 during the Vietnam War. After the Navy he worked for MODOT road construction for about 40 years. After his retirement he spent almost every day playing golf. He had only been playing for a short time when he scored a hole-in-one and made sure to let everyone know about it.

Charles is survived by his wife of 48 years Nancy Harrison, siblings Jani Owings and Becky Schnetzler, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents Harvey Harrison and mother Mary Harrison, his birth mother Rowena Harrison, twin brother Edward and baby sister Linda.
