Christopher Shawn Fisher

Christopher Shawn Fisher, age 52, of Rolla, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Chris was born in Jefferson City, Missouri, on February 21, 1973.

Chris owned and operated Fisher Mechanical and Berhorst Heating & Cooling. He graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1991. He attended Rolla First Assembly with his mom.

Chris was exceptionally great at what he loved, especially HVAC work which was only matched by his huge heart for helping people in need. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and cooking whatever he caught. He loved to smoke or BBQ meat and would make special meals with his mom and share with his loyal employees, Justin & Jim, and whatever neighbors were hungry. He loved spending time with friends and with family, and he had a great affinity for Fox Body Ford Mustangs and road trips.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Glenda "Jody" (Fisher) Williams, her husband Boyd and his beloved sister, Angela Smith, all of Rolla. His life was also blessed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends who only knew him as "Cowboy". He will be greatly missed by all who were touched by his passionate heart.

Chris was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Charles E. Jr. and Lena B. (Reeves) Fisher and one aunt, Beverly "Jeanne" (Fisher) Steveson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11 AM at Rolla First Assembly, 1608 N Oak St, Rolla, MO 65401, officiated by Pastor Chuck Whitmire and Pastor Lance Langenberg with a private graveside service at Vienna Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Chris Fisher Legacy Fund at Phelps Co. Bank that will continue to support the lasting impact he made on his community.
