Clifford worked at the hospital in Rolla for over 25 years and loved his job delivering food carts to the patients. He loved living in his home and the comfort it provided him.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his sister Rosemary Holt Douthert, and a brother.

He is survived by many friends, his closest being Michelle Brown, Wanda Crocker and Jeff Jaquess, who provided a lot of care, support and friendship over the years.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 1, 2021, at the Rolla City Cemetery (use entrance off Rolla Street) with Dr. Phill Cox officiating.

Clifford will truly be missed by all of his friends. He was special.
One of the sad things about Covid restrictions was I no longer was able to visit with Clifford after I clocked out. Now I'll have to wait until heaven to resume our visits.

April, he told me about the coat more than once. He really appreciated the gift of kindness more even more than the gift itself.

Clifford was a very sweet and kind man. I always enjoyed having a conversation with him! He wasalways happy and upbeat not matter what was going on in his life. Heaven sure gained a precious spirit and I am happy he is receiving all of Gods rewards that Clifford richly deserved. See you on the other side one day my dear:)

Clifford was so kind, a true gentleman! I had the privilege of knowing him during his career at the hospital. He spoke to everyone, smiled, and always had a kind word. The world needs more people like Clifford! He didn't judge, he acceptable people for who they are, and never had an unkind word to say. Rest in Peace, my friend. Heaven is a better place with you in it!

We have only known each other a few years, yet he was a strong man who had overcame many things in life and always had a smile and kind word for anyone he passed. He was very proud of his working career and the friends he had made. He loved to joke around and make you laugh. His neighbors will miss chatting with Cliffs on the way to the mailbox. RIP Cliffs, it your time to fly!
