Dennis Gene Klinefelter

Dennis Gene Klinefelter died on Monday, December 18, 2023, at his home in St. James (Rosati), MO.

He was born November 18,1951, to Deal & Joan (Blanchard) Klinefelter in Waukegan, IL.

He attended Beach Park schools & graduated in 1970 from Zion Benton Township High School.

He worked & retired from Commonwealth Edison Station 16 for 30 years as a certified welder in mechanical maintenance.

He was a hobby farmer in Somers, WI and was involved with AFS Exchange.
Moving to Missouri in his retirement, he established & operated Essence of the Vineyard Bed & Breakfast. He also represented St. James Winery & Public House Brewing Company as a Brand Ambassador. He never met a stranger & was an avid collector who loved his family, friends & nature, always planting trees everywhere he lived.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cynthia (Randall), son James (Karrie) Klinefelter, daughter Lindsay (Derrick) Domes, grandchildren Brodie & Ava Klinefelter, sister Debra Pavletic, nieces & nephews along with AFS sons Balkir Zihnali, Chico Hindarto, Dag Kjetil Storoy.

His laughter and humor will be missed by family & friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
