Emil (Pete) Wilbert Woemmel

Emil (Pete) Wilbert Woemmel, 74, of Bland passed away on January 2, 2026, in Cuba at Cuba Manor. He was born June 20, 1951, in Jefferson City to Edward and Leona (Linhardt) Woemmel. He was a 1969 graduate of Owensville High School.

Pete worked at Chrysler in the paint department for many years. He loved to work in his garden and to cook. He will be remembered by all that knew him by his big heart.

He is survived by his siblings Evelyn Schalk of Bland, Richard (Ellen) Woemmel of West Dundee, IL, Dale (Janet) Woemmel of Owensville, Donald (Donna) Woemmel of Drake, sister-in-law Marie Woemmel of Belle has well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert Woemmel and brother Russell Woemmel and his wife Mary.
