Heath Wood Huntley

Heath Wood Huntley, 78, of Owensville passed away on October 18, 2023.  He was born on November 24, 1944, in Chicago, IL to Walter and Jeanette (Wheat) Huntley. 

Heath sang in the US Army Chorus.  He was an extremely talented singer and performer, performing in countless musicals and choirs.  He sang in the church choir with his sister Bonnie.  Heath was very proud of his granddaughter Claire who inherited his musical talents. 

Heath also enjoyed fishing with his son Guy and grandson Maxwell.  He loved finding a good deal at a garage sale, enjoyed playing in the band at Herman, but his greatest joy was just time spent with family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Wendy Reimer.

Those left to mourn his loss are his son Guy (Laura) Huntley of Jefferson City, daughter Kate (Henk) Van der Veen of Hague, Netherlands sister Bonnie (Tommy) Lynn of Owensville, grandchildren Claire and Maxwell Huntley of Jefferson City, and Hugo and Ollie as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
