Jo Ann Hogan New

Jo Ann Hogan New of Rolla, Missouri, passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 84.  She was born on March 13, 1941, in Rolla to the late Joseph E. Hogan and Irene Wade Hogan. In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Moe Hogan, and nephew, Beau Hogan.

She will be greatly missed by her surviving family, which includes her brother, Tom Hogan of Rolla, Missouri, sister Pat Crawford of Concord, California, nieces and nephews, and seventeen first cousins.

After graduating from Central Missouri State College, Jo Ann began her teaching career in Arlington, Texas. In 1991, she returned to Rolla and taught at Wyman. She was an elementary school teacher until her retirement in May 2001.

To honor Jo Ann’s wishes, her body was cremated, and there will be no funeral service. Burial will be at Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens.
