Joan Kay (King) Ware, 78, died on December 12, 2023 in Dixon, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 16, 1945 in Steele, MO to Jesse and Hazel (Byce) King.
She was an avid gardener, who loved to fish, and watch scary movies. She loved to be outside in the sunshine and fresh air, and she also really enjoyed being with family and friends anytime she had the opportunity.
She met her spouse and the love of her life, Eugene Lindell Ware, and they were united in marriage on July 16, 1965. They were married 38 years, before his death on January 8, 2004.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and multiple siblings.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Ware, her son George Ware, her grandchildren Heather Mauthe and Phillip Ware, and great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be determined at a later date.
