John "Johnny" Forrest

John “Johnny” Forrest, 83 of Ellington, MO went home to his Lord and Savior on June 24, 2024. He was born May 5, 1941 in Charleston, MO, the son of late John and Martha (Terrell) Forrest.

 Johnny was a machine repair mechanic and foreman with McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, MO for over 30 years and retired in 1999.

 He married the love of his life, Janice Earhart of Dover, TN on September 30th 1972. They resided in Caseyville, IL for 27 years before moving to their forever home in Ellington, MO in 1999. Camping, fishing, vacations and spending time with family were favorite past times for them both.

 Surviving are his wife Janice, their daughter Melissa & her husband Brian Riddle of Salem, IL and his son John Daniel with wife Angie (Hodge) of House Springs, MO; 7 grandchildren Jennifer Frauenfelder, Baylee Riddle, Austin Birks, Chase Riddle, Dustin Riddle, Bradley Hodge and Derek Hodge; 6 great grandchildren.

 In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his sister, Ella Jane Moore and Daniel Ray Forrest.

 A Celebration of Life will be held at Webb Creek Baptist Church 9252 Hwy H Clearwater Lake at a date to be determined.
