Keith Lawrence Carter

Keith L. Carter aged 70, of Cuba, Mo, died Sunday, January 17, 20201, at his home surrounded with love.

Keith was born December 7, 1950, in St. Louis, the son of Adolphus and Hazel (Williams) Carter.

Keith graduated from Ritenour High School and following graduation he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Keith enjoyed camping, fishing, operating heavy equipment and spending time with his family.

Keith is survived by his wife Cindy (Land) Carter, his daughter Stacy (Carter) Atchley and her husband Brian of St. Louis; stepson, Brian Whitford and his wife Deanna of O’Fallon, MO; brother, Mike Clippard; 4 grandchildren, Ethan, Sophia and Carter Atchley and Kaleb Whitford; adopted grandchildren, Troya Valdespino and fiancée Cody O’Brien and Alexis Valdespino of St. Louis.

In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kaytlyn Whitford.
