Larry Smith

    Larry C. Smith, age 54, passed away at his home on Friday, February 26th, 2016. Larry was born on February 23, 1962, in Salem, Missouri, a son to the late William and Virginia (Swain) Smith. Larry was blessed with a large and loving family.  Larry resided in Edgar Springs his entire life where he enjoyed farming, fishing, and spending time with his five children and eleven grandchildren. Larry is survived by five children: Larry "Jason" Smith and significant other Alicia Chambers of St. James, Kimmy Porter and her husband Wopper of Edgar Springs, Shalena Becklenberg of St. James, Lindsey Shockley and her husband Ryan of St. James, Montana Smith and fiancée Brittany Jones of Edgar Springs; three sisters, Birdie Hutchins and her husband Poncho of Edgar Springs, Roxie Hill and her husband Dave of Doolittle, and Arlene Dalton and her husband Dana of Rolla. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Smith.    A memorial service will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the Assembly of God Fellowship Hall located at 103 Oak Street in Edgar Springs.   In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to your local hospice or PRHC Hospice Fund.
