Leland Keith Glenn

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Leland Keith Glenn, who peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on April 22, 2026, at his cherished home in rural Rolla, MO, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family.

Keith, as he was lovingly known, was born on November 26, 1966, in Marshfield, MO, and was a beacon of love, kindness, and steadfast faith throughout his 59 years on this earth.

Keith was the beloved son of the late Leland M. Glenn and Mary Jo Roberds (Newsom), who survives him and resides in Columbia, MO.

His journey was deeply enriched by his marriage to his beloved wife, Debbie, whom he married on April 8, 2006, at the First Baptist Church of Newburg. Together, they shared 20 years of unwavering devotion and built a beautiful life filled with love and cherished memories.

He is survived by his devoted daughters, Leslie Glenn of Rogersville, MO, and Katelynne Anchondo (husband Rapheale Kilpatrick), and his four treasured grandchildren, Kiyan, Kamarie, Azaria, and Rapheale, all of Rolla, MO, who were the light of his life. His sister, Tami Reynolds (Andrew), and her children, Andrea (Joe) Waner, Baily (Charles) Larkins, Grace Reynolds and her fiancée, Charlotte, and Zack (Rachel) Reynolds, along with his half sister Sherry (Willie) Davis of Florida, shared in his joy and love. Keith’s in-laws, Rodger and Jeanette Osborn, embraced him as their own, and he was deeply cherished by his nieces, nephews, and many brothers and sisters-in-law on Debbie's side of the family. His life was further enriched by the extended love of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, church family, and work family.

Keith's journey of education began with his graduation from Rock Bridge High School in 1985. His career was marked by a passionate commitment to service, as he dedicated many years as a volunteer firefighter. He excelled in various roles, including his time at Protel Communications in Springfield, MO, and Pathways in Rolla, MO, where he touched the lives of countless adolescents battling substance abuse. Although his declining health led him to retire before completing his Recognized Associate Substance Abuse Counselor I certification, his impact was never diminished.

A proud member of Mt. Olive Church in Doolittle, MO, Keith’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. His days were filled with the simple joys that he held dear—watching dramas about firefighting and rescue, cheering for Nascar, and reveling in rodeo events. Keith was a man of deep curiosity and compassion, always seeking to deepen his understanding of his religious beliefs and ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

His love for the outdoors, animals, road trips to visit family, movie nights, and spoiling his grandchildren were a testament to his zest for life.Keith had a gift for making things happen and was known for sending daily Bible verses to friends, maintaining connections with loved ones through phone calls, and sharing his abundant love and life with all he encountered.

His family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to the medical care professionals, EMS personnel, caregivers, and home health professionals who provided Keith with compassionate care and support, allowing him to remain in the comfort of his home.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Roberds, his father, Leland M. Glenn, and his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and LaVera Glenn, as well as his uncles Sonny, Larry, Leonard, Lonnie, Lindall, Michael, his aunt Linda, and his son Brian Anchondo, Keith is now reunited with them in eternal peace.Keith's legacy is one of love, faith, and unwavering kindness. His memory will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, let us celebrate a life beautifully lived and find comfort in the knowledge that his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. The family kindly requests that donations be made in Keith’s name to a charity of your choice, reflecting his generous spirit and lifelong commitment to helping others.
