I have no idea how old I was, but I know I wasn't school age yet and will never forget. I was staying with the family and Leslie took me to Blue Lake Park. She asked me if I wanted an ice cream sandwich, all I could think of was ice cream smashed between two slices of Wonder Bread and opted for a cone. She of course had one and after we threw or trash away into the "garbage monster" (that I was afraid of...) I think of this every time I see an ice cream sandwich to this day.
I will always cherish this memory cousin!
