Linda Lee Jackson

Linda Lee Jackson, 84 of St. James passed away peacefully with her two beloved cats by her side on August 13, 2025. She was born July 20, 1941, in Hillsboro, Illinois to Robert and Lillie (Kean) Woolard.

On July 20, 1958, she was united in marriage to Sam Jackson in St. James. Sam preceded her in death on November 1, 2008.

Linda was a member of the Christian Church of St. James. She loved her cats Scooter and Harley who were with her until she passed with Scooter joining her two days later.

Linda loved being outside, and prior to her sister’s death she enjoyed going on outings and trips with her.

She is survived by her Son Steve and his wife Teresa of St. James, granddaughters Kaylee Jackson of St. James and Kenzie Jackson of Alva, Oklahoma and Kori Jackson of Rolla; four great grandchildren Braydon, Bailey, Blake, Gunnar, and step grandchildren Kaylee, Karsyn, and Kylerr; great nephew Jacob Potter of Rolla, three nieces Robin Benson of Austin, Texas, Jaye Sewell of Rolla and Debbie and Jay Passmore.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband Sam and her beloved sister Helen Sewell.
