Linda Light

 Linda L. Light, age 62 of St. James, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Silverstone Place in Rolla. Linda was born on March 27, 1954, in St. James, a daughter to the late Raymond S. and June Ann (Mitchell) Parsons. Linda was a graduate of John F. Hodge High School in St. James. On September 15, 1980, Linda was united in marriage to John Light in St. James.  He preceded her in death on January 17, 2013. Linda was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and loved to take walks, especially with her husband John.  Linda is survived by: three children, Crystal Noakes and her husband James of St. James, Raymond Light of St. James, and Amber Watson of St. James; four grandchildren, Allie and Alisa Watson, Wesley Eads and Scott Bullock, Jr.; and four great grandchildren, Blaine Noakes, Connor Christensen, Emma and Ella Bullock; two brothers, Tom Parsons and his wife Diana of Rolla and Ron Parsons and his wife Sandra of St. James; four sisters, Lori Mathis of St. James, Pam Pherigo and her husband Matt of St. James, Rosemary Vrenick and her husband Rob of St. James, and Chrissy Christensen and her husband Travis of St. James, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her spouse, Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie and Raymond Parsons. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. at the Solid Rock Baptist Church in St. James.
