Lois Mae Lister

Lois Mae (Roark) Lister, aged 86, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Phelps Health in Rolla.

Lois was born August 3, 1935, in Tuscumbia, MO, a daughter to the late Jessie Eckles and Hazel (Flaugher) Roark.

Lois was united in marriage to Edward William “Bill” Lister and last July they celebrated 65 years of marriage. He survives of the home.

Lois enjoyed her family, many friends, caring for people and flowers.

Lois survivors include: her husband Bill; daughter, Anthanett Long and husband Mike of Dixon; grandsons, Brock Long and wife Ashley of Phillipsburg, Montana, and Rocco Long and his wife Angela of Waynesville, MO; granddaughter, Rody Clark and husband Nick of Woodway, TX; seven great grandchildren. Ace, Roslyn, Willow, Finn, Hazel, Oliver and Monroe; one sister, Mona Fore of Florissant, MO as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by; a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and her husband Irby Smith; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Freida Roark, brother-in-law, Marvin Fore; nephews Bruce Roark and Paul Smith and niece LeeAnn Smith Cho.

A Celebration of Lois’s Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the Westside Baptist Church, 801 Historic Route 66, Waynesville, Mo.
