Dear father of Aaron Donovan of Spanish Lake, MO.  Beloved son of the late Charles and Rita Lorraine Donovan (nee Simmons); dear brother of Judy Keller (Bob), Charlotte Ruzicka, Matthew Donovan (Cathy), John Donovan, Robert Donovan (Kristi); and sister-in-law, Theresa Donovan. Preceded in death by 4 siblings -- Mark, Dan, Mary, and Bridget Donovan; sister-in-law, Jayne; brother-in-law, Tom Ruzicka; our dear dad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.   

A 1979 graduate of St. Mary's High School, Luke worked at Siteman Automotive Parts Warehouse; was employed as a laborer for Sinak Plumbing; and then worked as a "plumbing pro" at Lowe's Home Improvement in Rolla, MO.

After a brief residency in Olney, Montana (approximately 30 miles from the Canadian border where he fulfilled his dream of living in the mountains), Luke returned to his cabin in St. James, MO.  He loved the outdoors, wildlife and hunting but his passion for singing Karaoke gave him the greatest joy. Luke could often be heard singing from his front porch.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Assumption Catholic Church, 4725 Mattis Rd, St. Louis, MO.  A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will be 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020, at the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, County Road 123A, St. James, MO 65559.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the immediate family to cover final expenses.
