Marilyn L. Lashlee

Marilyn L. Lashlee, age 91 of Cuba, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

Marilyn was born on February 24, 1934, in Steelville, a daughter to the late James Edward, Sr and Bessie (Mallow) Edwards.

She was a 1951 graduate of Bourbon High School.

On August 23, 1953, she was united in marriage to Leroy Lashlee in Argo, Mo. Leroy preceded her in death.

Marilyn worked for the Rolla Police Department for many years as a dispatcher. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a member of the Cuba chapter of the Eastern Star. Marilyn enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Marylin is survived by: a daughter, Saundra Latner of Cuba; a son, Joseph Lashlee of Cuba; one granddaughter, Tabitha Vance and her husband Jay Smith; one grandson, Richard Wenkel and his wife Kecia of North Carolina; her furbabies, Sully, Poe, Tobey, and Buzzy as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss her greatly.

In addition to her parents, Marylin was preceded in death by one brother, James Edwards, Jr., a son Thomas (Tom) and her husband Leroy Lashlee.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
