Mary Jane Potrafka

Mary Jane (McKee) Potrafka, 89, died August 4, 2026, at the Rolla Presbyterian Manor in Rolla, Missouri. She was born September 17, 1936, in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Claude McKee and Alicia (Millard) McKee.

Mary Jane graduated from Springfield Illinois High School in 1954. She attended Christian College in Columbia, Missouri and Milliken University in Decatur, Illinois. She married Richard Dean Potrafka on February 20, 1960, and lived in Chicago, Illinois: Springfield, Illinois; and Canon City, Colorado. They retired to Columbia, Missouri and then Rolla, Missouri.

Surviving are her son Richard Mark Potrafka and his wife Susan (Stewart) Potrafka of Rolla, Missouri, and grandson Nathaniel Stewart Potrafka and his wife Nora Elizabeth (Dunn) Potrafka of St. Peters, Missouri.
