Matthew Dean Craig

Matthew Dean Craig of Rolla passed away on July 6, 2025, in Rolla. He was born on October 18, 1976, to TJ Craig and Martha Jane (Watson) Craig. He would attend school at John F. Hodge High School in St. James.

July 14, 1997, he was united in marriage to Stephanie Lynn (Brown) Craig who predeceased him in 2024.

Matthew worked as a mechanic and was happiest when he was tinkering in his shop surrounded by his tools with the smell of motor oil in the air.

He was proud of his faith and was a member of Ridgeview Church.

In addition to his wife Stephanie Craig, he is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to mourn his passing are his children Samantha Craig, Harley (Tatyana) Craig, Asia (Theodore) Harwin, TJ Craig, Easton Craig, Caleb Craig, all of Rolla; brother Sonny Carrol of Bourbon, sister Donna (Kenny)Courtenay (Craig) of St Louis, Zachary (Mercedes) Piazza, Courtney (finance Kyle) Piazza, Tyler Piazza, many cousins, and one grand child Abel Harwin.
