Michael David McCormack, lovingly known as Mike, passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 77, at his home in Rolla, Missouri, from complications related to Alpha-gal syndrome. He is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Patricia Ann McCormack; his parents, Fred and Eunamae McCormack; and his brothers, Fred, Danny, and Kevin.
Mike was a dedicated father, husband, brother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone he met. He was known for his generosity, often opening his home, his heart, and even his wallet to help family and friends whenever they needed it. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and steady support to those around him.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Mike became a bricklayer and was a proud member of the Bricklayers Union. He carried a strong work ethic and a deep pride in his craftsmanship, always believing in doing things the right way.
Outside of work, Mike was an avid bass fisherman and had a deep love for hard rock music. He was also a loyal supporter of St. Louis sports teams, always following and cheering them on with passion. He will be forever remembered for his classic one-liners and sayings—phrases that have become part of the fabric of his family and will continue to be shared for generations to come.
He is survived by his beloved partner, JoAnn Van Eeckhoute, and her daughter, Tiffany; his children, David, Charlene, and Michele; his brothers, Jerry and Tim; his grandchildren, Leslie, Nikko, Tony, Matthew, Danny, Adam, Jamie, and Jeremiah; and his great-grandchildren, Bella, Ayden, Jackson, Julian, Melanie, Elaina, and Saige.
A celebration of life will be held at his home on Maries County Road 2110, Rolla, Missouri 65401, on April 18th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mike’s impact will be felt in the countless lives he touched, through the stories, laughter, and kindness he shared so freely.
