Michael R. Salleng

  Michael R. Salleng, age 69 of Cuba, Mo., passed away February 21, 2018 at the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, Mo. Michael was born on February 2, 1949 in Burbank, CA., a son to Leonard and Betty (Becker) Salleng who precedes him in death. Michael attended school at Reseda High School in Reseda, CA. On October 21, 1972 he was united in marriage to Judy Wilder in Reseda, CA., she survives of the home. Michael was a member of Delhi Church in Cuba, MO. He was also a member of the D.A.V. (Disabled Veterans of America) and the V.F.W. Michael enjoyed swimming, working on cars and helping anyone in need. Survivors include: two daughters; Christine Nelson, Bridgette McCormick, four grandchildren; Sebastian, Zander, Helen and Olivia, one brother; Wayne Salleng and one sister; Ginny Peterson. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.at the Fort Leonard Wood V.A. Cemetery in Waynesville, MO. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Delhi Baptist Church in Cuba, MO.
