Missy Dawn PolsonMissy Started her life on October 10th, 1974. Born into a loving family, her father Cecil Greer and mother Donna and two sisters Melody and Mandy. They shared many loved filled memories of bluegrass music, teepees, and camping out. Missy made many friends throughout her childhood and many remained close with her up until the end. After graduating from Waynesville she was blessed with her first daughter Shelby and four years later, Amber. Missys love for her girls had no end. She married Justin and her life was complete. Although the girls are not biologically Justin's, he has always loved them and treated them as his own. Missy has loved The Wizard of Oz since she was just a teenager. As years went on she began her collection of all things Wizard of Oz, and she was extremely proud of her collection. In June of 2017, Missy was again blessed with her grandson Bryson who she spoiled everyday. But in July of 2017 after some health concerns, Missy was diagnosed with lung cancer. For a whole year she battled her cancer with chemotherapy and radiation. To no avail, the cancer worsened. After many prayers, answered and unanswered, Missy gave her battle with cancer to the universes ultimate physician. Missy's faith throughout her journey was unbroken. Our Heavenly Father cured Missy in the blink of an eye. Her battle with cancer was won. Missy left this world for her mansion in Heaven. She will be missed but she wanted you all to know there is a place for you in heaven also. All you have to do is ask Jesus. He was there with her at the end with his arms wide open. As Missy would say, she will see you all soon! A celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, starting from 4:00- 6:00 PM, with service at 6:00 PM at the St. Robert Community Center 114 J.H. Williamson Dr. St. Robert, MO. 65584.
