Morgain Lofland, 75, of Salem, MO passed away on December 1, 2022, at her home with her family by her side. She was born January 10, 1947, in Manchester, England to John Stewart, of Leith, Scotland, and Margaret Sleigh.
She went to high school at Hollywood High School in Hollywood, California. Morgain worked as a seamstress and showed dogs professionally while living in the Burbank, California. She was also a member of the American Kennel Club and Stewart Society. She enjoyed sewing, watching the Highland Games, spending time at the beach, and most of all she enjoyed time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years James Lofland; sons Erik (Cindy) Badgett of Waynesville, MO, Christopher (Laurel) Lofland of Castaic, CA, Sean Lofland of Alamodgordo, NM; daughters Heather (Bob) Stuart of Puerto Rico, Cathleen (Dan) Bisby of Salem, MO; 12 grandchildren Carey Badgett-McGinnis, Alex Lofland, Jeffery Stuart, Christian Stuart, Chris Lofland, Collin Lofland, Savannah Hollister-Badgett, Regina Bisby, Dylan Stevens, James Lofland, Tyler Badgett-Casing, and 2 great grandchildren Dennis McGinnis and Killian McGinnis.
Morgain was preceded in death by one grandchild Brian Stuart.
Visitation will be at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Salem, Mo on December 17, 2022, at 1:00pm.
