Patricia Kinkead

  Patricia Sue Kinkead, age 64 of Rolla, Missouri, passed away April 7th, 2018 after a lingering illness.  Pat was born on a hot day in July in Kansas City, Missouri.  The first daughter to Richard Randles and Clara Tiede Randles, Pat was raised on a farm in rural Springfield, Missouri.  She attended school at Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri, obtaining dual degrees in Spanish and Math.  In early April 1976, she was united in marriage to John Alan Kinkead at her parents' home.  Pat was a member of First Church of God in Salem, Missouri.  She was a retired Missouri public school teacher, having served for 30+ years as a high school Math and Spanish teacher, among other roles.  Pat enjoyed researching family genealogy, was an avid reader of anything she could get her hands on, and loved spending time with family, especially her grandkids.   She is survived by her husband John of Rolla, Missouri; her son James, daughter-in-law Suzanne, and grandchildren Ethan, Emily, and Erica of St. James, Missouri; and her daughter Jennifer of Blue Springs, Missouri.  Additionally, she is survived by her mother, Clara; sisters Janny, Jeannie, and Cathy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.  She is preceded in death by her father, Richard. A celebration of her life and a sharing of stories will be held on Sunday, April 22nd, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First Church of God in Salem, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers, a donation in Pat's name may be made to: American Diabetes Association at P.O.
