Ricky Lynn McKinnon, age 59 of St. James, Mo., passed away May 16, 2018 at his home. Rick was born December 21, 1958 in Pulaski County, MO., a son to the late Jessie and Alma (Blackwell) McKinnon. Rick attended school at Corinth Schoolhouse and Rolla High School. Rick was a member of New Life Fellowship Church Inc. of Rolla. He was very active in his church and was always the first to volunteer if anyone needed help. He loved fishing, dart tournaments, cooking, rodeo team penning, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include: one son, Jesse Lynn Berry- McKinnon of Rolla; four sisters, Vivian Rowe of Columbia, Mo., Ruth Denton of Rolla, Kathy Addington and her husband Bob of Birmingham, AL., Beverly Wilson and her husband Tim of St. Louis, MO., one sister in law, Brenda McKinnon of Rolla, Mo., many nieces, nephews, other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by two brothers: Leroy McKinnon, and James Richard (JR) McKinnon, four sisters; Patsy Weller, Elsie Qottawaba, Mary Lea Ware, and Ina Kleffner, and two brothers in law; David Kleffner and Wayne Rowe. A Memorial Inurnment Service will be held at the Lower Davis Cemetery in Rolla at the Old Spring Creek Farm. Date and time pending.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Jesse McKinnon 13125 County Road 4120 Rolla, Mo. 65401. Arrangements are under the direction of Rolla Cremation and Memorial 11930 County Road 2070 P.O. Box 1602 Rolla, Mo. 65402

So sorry to hear this. Duke and I always enjoyed serving the Lord with him at New Life Church in Rolla. He was always so willing to help even when he wasnt feeling so well. Nice guy and he will be missed.
