Sara L Busby

Sara L Busby, 85, of Rolla passed away on Wednesday June 3, 2026, at Silverstone in Rolla. She was born November 24, 1940, in Latrobe, PA to Roland and Jane (Woodring) Boyce. She attended Ligonier Valley High School and graduated in 1958. On December 10, 1965, she married George W. Busby in Lemont Furnace, PA.

She worked for several hotels as a housekeeper. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking meals, playing bingo, reading, horseback riding, roller skating, but most of all she loved her cats and spending time with them.

Those left to mourn her loss are her daughter Cindy (Eddie) Shannon of Rolla, son Bryan (Sheila) Grace of Jackson, MO, stepson Steve (Robin) Busby of Bellevue, NE; and four grandchildren.

Sara was preceded in death by her husband George, her parents, and one brother Roland Gerald Boyce,
