On Saturday, March 2, 2019, Sharon L. Huff, loving mother of three, passed away at the age of 68 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan. Sharon was a resident of Victorian Place of Sullivan after her retirement from Midwest Mechanical Installation. Together, with her friends, she attended Christ Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in St. Clair, Mo. where she formed many long lasting friendships.

Born May 30, 1950 in Wentzville, MO to the late Warren W. Huff and Ann R. Rose {Breedlove}, Sharon was the second daughter born to Warren and Ann. She attended Wentzville High School where she graduated with the class of 1967.

Sharon was a long-time resident of the Tipton, MO area after marrying Hersel E. Rugen on November 7, 1981. She then moved to the Sullivan, MO area where she retired in 2015. 

Sharon loved gardening, being outdoors and spending time with her grandkids. She was an avid animal lover, loved great food and good quality time spent with her family and friends. She said she felt closer to God in those moments and it brought her great peace. She had a laugh that brightened up a room and filled hearts with sunshine; which won her "The Best Laugh Award" at Victorian Place of Sullivan.

She is survived by three children, Tracy Kinsey and Dean Rugen, both of Washington, MO and Jami Donnelli (Rugen) of High Ridge, MO. Ex-spouse and life-long friend, Hersel E. Rugen of Syracuse, MO., two sisters, Judith Moorman (Huff) of Wright City, MO., and Barb Chaudoin (Huff) of Lake St. Louis, MO., 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. 

She is proceeded in death by her father, Warren W. Huff, mother, Ann R. Rose (Breedlove), and sister, Cindy R. Huff. Memorial Services will be held March 23 at 1pm at Christ Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in St. Clair, MO. Burial will be at a later date.

Sharon's family requests that bright and colorful clothing be worn to Sharon's Celebration of Life.

Rolla Cremation and Christ Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, has been entrusted with arrangements.
