Stephen Edward (Ed) Atkisson

Stephen Edward (Ed) Atkisson, age 89 of Rolla passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

Ed was born December 19, 1933, in Raymondville, MO, and was a graduate of Houston High School class of 1951. He attended Southwest Missouri State College and mortuary school in Dallas, TX.

Ed was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Leann (Atkisson) Jarrett, his twin brother Aaron Atkisson, brother Brian Atkisson and three sisters, Billie (Atkisson) Smith, Marcie Atkisson and Peggy (Atkisson) Hart Evans.

Ed is survived by his wife, Eve (Evans) Atkisson, daughter Laura (Atkisson) O’Keefe and husband Matt, son, Alan Atkisson as well as five grandsons and three great grandchildren.

Per Ed’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
