Terry Linebarger

Terry Linebarger of Salem, MO passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the age of 71. He was born in Salisbury, NC on November 9, 1954 to the late Baxter Linebarger and Frances (Miller) Linebarger. On May 21, 1994 he married Lee Wade in Fort Collins, CO.

Terry enjoyed outdoor activities like hiking in the Rockies, hunting, fishing and target shooting. He was also a talented woodworker and had a special connection with animals.

He will be greatly missed by his surviving family including his wife, Lee of Salem, MO, sister Sandra (Harold) Stirewalt, his daughter Amy (Byron) Martin, grandsons Reece, Hayden and Maks Martin of Salisbury, NC and his beloved dog, Henry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Rescue or Phelps County Animal Rescue.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Details will be shared once arrangements are complete.
