Willie Summerford, Jr.

Willie Summerford, Jr., age 68, of Vienna passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Maries Manor Nursing Home in Vienna. Willie was born June 25, 1947, in Little Rock, Arkansas, a son to the late Willie Charles and Ollie Mae (Simpson) Summerford. He attended school in Monticello, AR. and on July 12, 1975 Willie was united in marriage to Kathy Haddox in Monticello. From this union, six children were born. Kathy preceded him in death on February 23, 1990. Willie had been employed as a Carpet Installer for Sherwin Williams and worked as a Security Guard for a time. He enjoyed fishing, watching WWE on T.V. and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be lovingly missed and is survived by: son, Jay Summerford, his wife Dana and their children Allison, Zachariah, Greyson, and Cameron of Vienna; son, Keith Summerford, his wife Heather and their children Dani Jo, Daylon, Skylar, and Starianne of Eldon; daughter, Danielle Summerford of St. Louis; son, Michael Summerford, his fiancé Kristie Vondracek and their children Samuel, Olivia, and Grace of St. James; two brothers, Ernest (Burn) Summerford of Monticello, AR and Larry Summerford of Monticello, AR as well as many extended family members and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, Willie was preceded in death by: two sons, J.D. and Willie Summerford and two brothers, Van Charles and Donnie Summerford.     Graveside services will be held at a later date.
