Z. Bernice Sharp

Bernice Sharp was born February 26, 1952, to the late Monnie Hubert and Ocie Elsie Camden (Nash) in Graniteville, MO.

Our amazing wife, mother, Mama, and Big Mama passed from this life on Monday, February 27, 2023, at her home in Plato, MO surrounded by her family.

In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her in-laws, Paul Wormer and Erma Joy Miles, brothers, Johnnie Camden, Stoney Camden, and Russell (Butter) Camden and sisters, Shirley Hartley, Mary Camden, and Diane Grammond.

Bernice lived her life devoted to her family and God. She always had an open-door policy. If you ever left her house hungry, it was your own fault. She was an amazing cook who enjoyed spoiling her babies with ning-a-nings. Bernice had a desire for family like no other. She aspired to be a wife and mother from a very young age.

Bernice will be forever missed by her surviving family including her loving husband of 47 years, Robert W. Sharp I, of the home; her sister Loretta Payne of Little Rock, AR; children, Melissa Rhyneer (Tommy), of Newburg, MO, Paula Randolph (Kenney) of Waynesville, MO, Theresa Lewis (Chris) of Rolla MO and Robert Sharp, II (Shakota) of Plato, MO; grandchildren, Jared (Tara, Chris Jr, Dakota (Shyloh), Taleena (Scotty), Cheyenne, Lucas (Mykayla), Marteena, Kassandra (Kenny), Myranda (Austin), Autumn and Sophia; Great grandchildren, Katie, Austin, Emme, Levi, Nivaeh, Nathen, Alyssa, Kenny, Mason, Tucker, Hunter, Justice, Raelynn, Ravyn, Malina, Gunnar and Alleah; two sisters-in-law, Sherry Camden and Joyce Camden; two brothers-in-law, David McPeak (Mary) and Len Miles (Trisha) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Please take comfort knowing she is no longer in pain and is rejoicing with Jesus, cancer free. Bernice is having the best family reunion we could ever dream to see.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Red Shed, 169 Truman Street, Newburg, MO 65550
