Willa Mae Williams

Willa Mae Williams of Cuba, Missouri was born February 6, 1941 in Keysville, Missouri to Arthur and Eula (nee Eaton) Counts and passed away on January 28, 2021 at the age of 79 years and 11 months. 

    Willa Mae attended school through the 12th grade in Steelville, Missouri.

    She was married to Everett Williams on December 8, 1961.

    She worked for 30 years in the special services department of the Crawford County R-2 School District.

    Willa Mae enjoyed crocheting, playing with her great grandchildren and collecting salt and pepper shakers.

    She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Eula Counts; three brothers; four sisters-in-laws; and in-laws, Homer and Mae Williams.

    She is survived by her husband, Everett Williams of Cuba, Missouri; one son, Randy Williams and wife Louanne of Cuba, Missouri; four grandchildren, Emma and Carlo Filippelli of Mass., David and Jody Minardi of Cuba Misssouri, Danny and Heather Williams of Cuba, Missouri and Lance and Abby Williams of Cuba, Missouri; two brothers, Frank Counts and wife Connie of Steelville, Missouri and Gary Counts of Steelville, Missouri; nine great grandchildren, Zack, Mia, Brendon, Kye, Paulie, Lucas, Allie, Benny and River; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

    Willa Mae was cremated per her wishes.

    Due to COVID-19 there will be no visitation or services. 

    Burial will be at Meramec Hills Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
